I think I was high when I wrote this.

How important are rules for our survival? I mean, what if there were no rules? Why can't we trust humanity on it's own for our survival? Do we need to restrain it? Put it on a leash, in order to keep in humane? If so, then why call it humanity?

If there was no check on you. If you were anonymous. If you could do whatever you wanted without repercussions, what's the worst you would do?

Ask yourself.

Johnny Depp gets nominated ^__^

I really haven't posted how big of a fan of JD I am on this blog yet. But I really really love this guy. He's sort of my acting inspiration. Which is a huge thing to say in itself since this person is a movie GAWWWD. He's one of the two things that inspired me to find an outlet in the performing arts and making me realize the power of entertainment. The other was the movie 'Rang de Basanti'.

Okay so back to Johnny Depp. In 2008 his daughter Lily-Rose Depp was sick. (Yes, I stalk him.) So I wrote him a letter about it. It was nice and professional and I tried making it as original and non gay as possible. Wait, I might have it saved somewhere, let me see.

I found it, but it is gay. So I'm not posting it. But the point is, he replied! Sent me an autographed picture! By snail mail, mind you. Before you start laughing at my naivety let me explain. I know it was probably his secretary or agency or whoever who sent me that picture as fan mail on behalf of him. But that doesn't make it any less important for me.

It's one of the most important material things I own and I've put it in my treasure box, which is a Pirates of the Caribbean original item too! So, getting to the present.

He's been nominated for an Oscar for his role with Angie in 'The Tourist' and that's fantastic. I really hope he wins, it'd be 'wicked' as he'd call it. But even if he doesn't, does it really matter? Forever Awesowwme.

Thanks to my brother who has lost my Card Reader, no pictures with this post. But I will post the autograph (with it's stamped envelope) sometime in the future.

- Women Empowerment 4 U

Today, I attended this party at Avari representing my khala and trying to get some sponsors for HNMUN. It was the 21st Anniversary of First Women Bank of Pakistan, created by the late BB to empower the common woman. A few highlights of today's evening:

1. I met Sania Saeed. She is really cute in person, very modest and humble. And so pretty ^_^

2. I had free food. (Obviously, since it was a party but free food ALWAYS excites me, so.)

3. I bagged a meeting with a couple of prospective sponsors. Yayy.

4. I do not think FWB's main representative there was very friendly towards the idea of sponsoring us, which is sad. Since these guys talked about Women Empowerment all throughout the event. =__=

Anyhoo, not dissing anyone. Just, well do as you speak and speak what you do.

Mood-O-Meter: Bubbly. After I'm done writing this post and jab light ajaye I will have a huge burger and watch Bigg Boss ^^
